What are the Differences between Java and QTVR? JAVA is built into the operating system of most every personal computer (PCs and Macs) used today and therefore our JAVA content does not require any additional software download to view it. QTVR stands for QuickTime Virtual Reality and is a technology that creates a more integrated experience. QTVR is free software download for all platforms and preinstalled into every Mac as well as many Windows machines on delivery. This combination allows almost every viewer to see your virtual tour content with no need for additional installations.

How much do virtual tours cost? Since we allow for such a high level of customization, we bid each project on the needs of that client. We must see those parameters in order to give fair pricing on a project. After comparing pricing with our competitors, we unequivocally feel that we offer a far better value on a high quality virtual tour. You can view base pricing for our Standard Tours here.

Can you do just the 360 images, not the interface? We can do 360 photography (and still photography) without the viewing interface, but we feel that the best value and your most effective demonstration is in the fact that we can create the most captivating and intuitive way to display our images in a medium that matches your existing website.

How does the the development process work? After we discuss your needs we will deliver a proposal that includes costs and a rough outline/timeline of what the project will require. We then schedule a convenient time to come and shoot your location. We provide an online client page to show proof images and designs as they progress during the approval and production phases. This allows the client to present the content with their co-workers for input and approval. Once all the pieces are put together and fully programmed, we then either electronically deliver the files via FTP or CD-ROM to you with the simple instructions on how to implement the tour, or we can implement your tour on your website for you.

Does the tour go on my website or yours? In most cases our clients will host their new 360 degree virtual tour on their own servers, but we also have many clients that WE serve their entire websites AND virtual tour.

How long does the process of creating a tour take? It really depends on the complexity of the tour design. If it is one of our “Standard Virtual Tour” packages, the process can take as little as 5-7 days after we shoot it for you and the client provides necessary feedback in a timely manner. If it is a more complex design of a custom virtual tour, then it completely depends on the set of options chosen.
